A red wine that cost £7,500 at Costco has been replaced by a cheaper wine that costs £5,000.
Costco is replacing a bottle of red wine with a bottle that costs just £5.99 from 1 December.
This change was announced by the retailer at the World Wine Festival in Toronto, Canada.
The new wine comes with a 10% discount.
The price of the new wine is listed on the Costco website as £7.49 for a bottle, £6.49 on a 750ml bottle and £4.99 on a 1,500ml bottle.
Costa’s wine, also known as Red Wine, is known for its red colour and high levels of antioxidants, as well as its mild taste.
It has been shown to be a healthy option for reducing the risk of cancer.
The retailer says it will also be replacing a large number of the bottles in its own storerooms with cheaper wines.
Costas wine was introduced in 2014 as a more economical alternative to traditional red wines, although the wine is still sold at some premium stores.
In 2017, the company announced it would no longer be selling the brand at its own stores.
